The Odea Fighting Irish open the season with a dominate win over the Roosevelt Rough Riders

SEATTLE -- The Odea fighting Irish have a dominate win over the Roosevelt Rough Riders, with a 56-28 scoreboard. Senior Jayshaun Wilson had an incredible performance, rushing for over 260 yards on just 9 carries. Even more impressive, 3 of his 9 carries ended in

touchdowns.

Wilson’s performance was one of the big reasons Odea was able to control the game and put so many points on the scoreboard.

Wilson wasn’t the only player who found the spotlight on the field. Max Speller also had a strong game, rushing for 2 touchdowns and helping Seattle’s offense continue to build momentum.

Jackson Turner added another touchdown of his own, giving Seattle even more offensive power.

O'dea high schools ability to get multiple players involved made the offense difficult to stop. With Wilson leading the way and Speller and Turner contributing touchdowns, Odea put together an exciting performance.

After the Game Junior DE Ali Mohammeds shared his thoughts about the defense in the game was " Its our first week, we are gonna get better week by week"

The 56–28 win showed just how dangerous Seattle’s offense can be when everyone makes an impact.

Refering to the overall perfomance Junior transfer TE Michael Tokailagi said "Yeah you know, I think we got it done on offense, but our defense didn’t start the way we wanted"
