On the morning of February 29th, 2024, excitement filled the air at the Tacoma Dome as the O'Dea Fighting Irish faced off against their rivals, the Garfield Bulldogs. It was their fourth showdown of the season, and both teams were eager to secure a spot in the Washington State semifinals.

With students buzzing with anticipation, led by teachers Mr. Schutte and Mr. Doyle who drove students down on the buses, the O'Dea Fighting Irish showed their strength and determination to clinch a thrilling victory over the Garfield Bulldogs. Despite a slow start, the game heated up, keeping fans on the edge of their seats. And while the Rowdy Pack's spirited cheering was unmatched, even amid some administrative corrections, it was the Fighting Irish's teamwork and resilience that ultimately sealed the deal.
