As the sun rises over Snohomish on this cold October morning, Owen Webster begins his daily commute to O’Dea high school downtown Seattle.

Owen Webster was first born in Duvall, he moved to Kirkland and spent most of his childhood there. A significant moment in his childhood was when Owen we about to transfer schools but then his mom became the principal at the school he was attending, and he had to stay. Now Owen lives in Snohomish, making the long trek to Seattle for school at O’Dea.

Owen loves spending time with his friends, “I rely on my friends for my sense of community."

Although most of his friends went to other schools, Owen chose O’Dea because he liked the education and the teaching style that O’Dea had to offer. His passion for photography also shines through, prompting him to take on the yearbook role this year, a decision influenced by his long standing interest in capturing moments through a lens.

Beyond his social and creative pursuits, Owen’s life is a study of resilience and focus. The long trek to Seattle each day tests his dedication, He drives his loud infinity G37 to school every day. Although he keeps his circle tight, he finds richness in these connections rather than seeking a broader network.
