At O'Dea High School, "Brotherhood Block" is a new addition to the O'Dea experience. Twice a month, all students and faculty get together in their mentor group classrooms and go through a lesson that teaches aspects of good character and brings the brotherhood closer together; it is a place where everyone gathers around to support everyone's character development and personal growth.

Each session focuses on a different topic. For example, our most recent Brotherhood Block focused on Homecoming Week and what "homecoming" means. During homecoming week, the O'Dea community plans a week filled with activities, with a dress-up theme for each day, to build the energy and pride that comes with homecoming.

Through thoughtful discussions and shared experiences within the Brotherhood Block, this program represents the spirit of unity and enhances the belief that O'Dea High School can continue to grow and improve.
