Have you ever seen the masters golf tournament, and how great the golfers are? Not just the golfers but how great they are as people in society. From middle school to high school, I got the honor to have a sit-down interview in a photography class with the junior, class of 2025, Paddy Mahar.

Paddy was explaining the importance and impact that Odea made on his life. Paddy came to O'Dea because of the great athletics and because he wanted to be a part of the brotherhood. Paddy emphasized how important it is to be around his brothers every day on and off the golf course. It's his favorite part of O'Dea, to be working in the brotherhood every day. It means everything to him to be able to come to school with friends who always have his back.

Paddy is extremely passionate about hockey and golf also, being there for his friends. Later in life, he hopes through hard work and dedication to become a pro golfer. Paddy told me, "I know it's going to take hard work and sacrifice, but it's been my dream since a young kid.'' If Paddy had 3-4 hours of free time to spare, he would be hanging out at the golf course working on his craft and playing Xbox with his O'Dea brothers.

Paddy has also gone above and beyond with photography. He has taken photos all sports photos and is only going to continue to get better. He has made a big name for himself by taking some of the best photos in this state at the high school level. Keep an eye on this wonderful student-athlete over the next few years as he is going to make a big impact in our world.
