If you hear about a hard-working photographer from Seattle, Washington, his name is probasbly Ivan Quispe. Ivan is always ready to capture the best quality action pictures anytime, but especially under the Friday night lights.

Ivan Quispe is a senior that attends O'Dea High School who enjoys taking photos and wants to become a professional photographer. When Ivan hears there's a sporting event, he would go to the event with no hesitation to get good pictures and get as much exposure as he can to expand his network.

Last year was when Ivan first started taking pictures seriously. Ivan fell in love with photography because, as he says, "it helps me get in my own headspace." Taking the next step forward, Ivan is going to attend college and try to work with the media team so he can build great connections. "I want to have my own business someday," says Ivan. The dream is so close.

Outside of photography, Ivan used to play rugby for about three years but his career came to an end just the past year because he did not like running. His favorite thing to do is to spend time with his family when he isn't in school or behind the camera lens.

One thing Ivan always practiced was getting better at taking quality pictures. As you take a look at the improvement Ivan has gone through in the past year, I can say he has been a one-of-a-kind photographer when considering his work ethic and how much time he has put into looking through the lens.

Having a student like Ivan in this year's yearbook class is going to be a special one.
