Splash! Among the swimmers diving into the pool for the 100-meter race is Grayson Horstmann.

From a young age, Grayson developed a love for baseball and swimming that allowed him to stay active and challenge himself. Whether he’s on the baseball field working on his swing or in the pool improving his strokes, Grayson enjoys pushing his limits and growing as an athlete. In addition to playing sports, Grayson loves watching them too, always eager to learn from professional athletes and the strategies behind the games.

When it came time to choose a high school, Grayson knew exactly where he wanted to go: O'Dea High School. Known for its strong sense of brotherhood, O'Dea attracted Grayson not just because of its academic and athletic opportunities but because of the close-knit community. He values the camaraderie and support that the school offers, and he’s excited to be part of that tradition.

Beyond sports and school, Grayson loves to help others. “Whenever I see someone struggling I will always try my best to make their day at least a little bit better,” he said. Whether it’s volunteering in the community or simply offering a hand to a friend in need, he is always looking for ways to make a positive impact.
