The O'Dea house volleyball has been an intense competition where mentor groups take team building to the next level. Ms. Sutton's mentor group remains undefeated after taking the win against Mr. Kaden's mentor group. Ms. Sutton's background in volleyball has led her team to the first-seed position after a close game and strong performance by both teams. Ms. Sutton and her mentor group believe their success is due to their being open to coaching on skill and strategy and they all work well together using positive communication. If your mentor group is in the running take notes from the undefeated team.

Ms. Sutton says momentum is a critical part of success in volleyball. Ms. Sutton has had experience since middle school and played through high school and college. She has coached middle school volleyball teams and a few years of JV volleyball. Her experience and mentor group's success shows the athleticism and strong communication in her team. Although she doesn't play much anymore she has said working with her team has been a special treat considering she doesn't spend much time with volleyball anymore.
