I interviewed an O'Dea mentor group captain. He is a junior and his name is Julian Thomas-Goodson, better known as Gobi. Gobi is a junior at O'Dea High school. Gobi is one of the best leaders at O'Dea. He is also a starting offensive linemen for the Football team. Gobi told me what makes him such a great leader and what motivates him to be one.

What makes Gobi such a great leader is he wants to help people. I asked him what motivates to lead people and he told me he never likes seeing people down and he wants to make sure they are comfortable in the O'Dea environment.

Gobi's inspiration in his life is his mom. Gobi looks up to her because she worked hard to get Gobi a good life and education. It is safe to say without Gobi's mom, he wouldn’t be where he is now and wouldn't be one of the best leaders at O'Dea High school right now.

I also asked him what's one personal goal he has this year and he said his goal this year is to bring back the house cup to Kilkenny. When Gobi is away from the football field and outside the classroom he likes to hang out with his friends and family.
