O’Dea Fighting Irish Starts Season Strong at Bellarmine Invite

TACOMA, Wash. - The O’Dea fighting Irish cross-country team made their season debut last Saturday at Bellarmine Prep High School and finished 9th overall and 2nd in Metros.
Junior Heath Atrosh led the way running a personal record of 10 minutes, 24 seconds in the two-mile race. He placed 13th overall and had the fastest time among all Metro runners.

Senior Maddox Fox followed with a strong 10-minute, 41 second finish, with teammates Colin McKeon (Junior), Dominic Decina (Junior), Paulos Yohannes (Senior), and Jacob Counas (Junior) helping the Fighting Irish lock in a top ten finish. They finished with an overall team score of 248 to place ninth overall.
The Fighting Irish will race next week at the Metro League XC meet hosted by Blanchet High School on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Lower Woodland Park in Seattle.
