TACOMA, Wash. - O'Dea’s Fighting Irish cross-country team finished 9th overall and second in the Metro League with 248 points at the Bellarmine Prep invite in Tacoma on September 13th.

Junior Heath Atrosh led the team with their highest finish of the meet finishing 13th out of 129 in the boys' two-mile course with a time of 10:24.4. That time was 1st overall out of the teams in the Metro League (Blanchet, West Seattle, O’Dea, Ballard, Lakeside). Not too far behind Atrosh was his teammate, senior Maddox Fox, who came in 30th with a time of 10:41.6.

The two of them combined for 48 points which was 2nd among Metro teams.

After that performance, the Irish look to their next meet, which is a combined meet against the Bishop Blanchet Bears, SAAS Cardinals, and The Ingraham Rams on Friday, September 19th at Lower Woodland Park.  Will they continue this run of form? Only time will tell.
